Ayaz Mirza
Analyst, InvestWise4U
Ayaz Mirza is the analyst behind InvestWise4U. He built the comparison engine the site runs on and is responsible for the method it applies, the sources it draws on, and the corrections it makes when a figure turns out to be wrong.
LinkedIn profileWhat this is not
Ayaz Mirza is not a licensed financial adviser, broker, fund manager or tax professional, and holds no regulatory authorisation in any jurisdiction. “Analyst” here describes what he does on this site, not a licence or a professional designation. Nothing published on InvestWise4U is a personal recommendation. For advice on your own circumstances, speak to a licensed professional where you live — the financial disclaimer sets out the full position.
What he is responsible for
The scoring model, in full. Every option on this site is ranked out of 100 against affordability, risk match, horizon match, goal match and yield relative to the best available in your own market, and the weights are published rather than described in the abstract — you can read them on how it works and check them against the breakdown shown on each product card.
The dataset behind it: which products are listed for each market, their minimums, fees, lock-in periods and regulatory status, and the date each was last checked. It is maintained as a periodically updated reference set, not a live market feed, and saying so is part of the job.
Corrections. If a figure here is wrong, it gets fixed and the feedback page is the route. That is a real route, not a formality.
Editorial stance
Figures are compiled from central-bank and official statistical sources — the Federal Reserve Economic Data service and the Bank for International Settlements — alongside the published terms of regulated providers, with World Bank country data and a public exchange-rate feed used for currency conversion. Every source is named, and where a figure comes from an outside service the page says which one.
The method is published in full rather than summarised. Product data is a periodically updated reference set rather than a live market feed, so every figure carries the date it was last checked and rates should be confirmed with the provider before you commit money. InvestWise4U takes no commission from any provider it lists, runs no affiliate links to financial institutions, and no provider can pay to appear or to rank higher.
The longer version, including how articles are written and how conflicts of interest are handled, is the editorial policy.
Why articles carry the site's byline
Articles are published under the InvestWise4U name rather than a personal one. That is not an attempt to be anonymous — this page exists so you know who is behind the site — but a statement about what stands behind an article: the published method and the named sources, which you can check, rather than a professional reputation you would have to take on trust.
If that distinction matters to you, it should. It is the difference between content you can verify and content you are asked to believe.
